Fare Watch Air Arabia Begins Flights to Armenia Air Arabia will fly two times a week to Yerevan, every Wednesday and Saturday, departing from Sharjah at 9:15am, arriving in Yerevan at 12:20pm and departing Yerevan at 1:05pm to arrive back in Sharjah at 3:55pm. _________________________________________________ Air Companies YEREVAN - EUROPE Gateway Armavia Replaced the old Armenia Airlines on flights to Europe, Middle East and CIS routes. Uses airbus on European routes and finally making headway in service, though there are complaints for being late, unkempt aircraft and remote gates at airports. British Mediterranean / British Airways British Mediterranean (B-Med) operates British Airways (BA) aircraft on direct flights from London Heathrow to Yerevan. Flights are 5-6 times a week (6-7 days a week in peak season April-October). Though listed as B-Med everything but the pilots and flight crew are BA: planes, meals, services and reservation system. Reliable, good service, if pricey with tickets quoted in high season from the US at $1,880-3500 R/T but much cheaper from London starting at around $744 (418 GBP). Most convenient and easy to book, if more expensive, online. Use Orbitz, Travelocity and Hotwire to get better deals on same flights. A note to those who can be flexible on flight dates; some flights use the A321 aircraft, which has a few more seats than the regular A320, giving you a slightly better chance to get the cheaper fare. (thanks Sam) PARIS - YEREVAN (worldwide network) Air France Ten years after, the fabled Airline that first broke the local airline monopoly returns to Armenia with a code-share agreement with Armavia. But the renowned Air France aircraft shove the locals up about 100 notches. Prices commensurate with British Airways. (And you get duty free in Paris)
Atlantis European Airways Address: 29 Sayat Nova Ave., Yerevan Czech Air One of the upstarts of East Europe makes a splash into Yerevan with twice weekly services. Summer specials start at $799 equivalent, not the best deal. But aircraft is new Airbus, and service has a great reputation. Plus you get to visit Prague! MOSCOW - YEREVAN (worldwide network) Aeroflot International Has connecting flights in Moscow to its extensive global flight network (one of the largest in the world). It is a good option for traveling from far flung locations to Armenia. When flying, do check which airport the Yerevan flight arrives in Moscow, you want Sheremetyevo II, the international terminal, for connecting flights to Europe, Asia and the US. If it arrives in Sheremetyevo I, you will have to pass customs and catch a bus or taxi to international flights at Sheremetyevo II. Aeroflot can guide you through this clunky operation, but it is much easier to just arrive in same terminal as your connecting flight. The service on Aeroflot International is about the same as Armavia, the planes are the generally the same, unless you get stuck in one of their old TU-154s, which will remind you of taking a cross-town bus at rush hour. Look for the airbus when making reservations. For passengers from Asia, Africa and South America, Aeroflot deserves a serious look. Siberian Airlines (S7) Good option, if you can make the online reservation. VIENNA - YEREVAN (worldwide network) Atlantis European Code share with Austrain Airlines, so basically same service and prices.
Austrian Airways Flies Vienna-Yerevan. Service and price comparable to British Mediterranean.

Spring board to CIS, East and West Europe and very competitive prices: probbaly the cheapest way in at $350-400 R/T, then a plethora of western airlines fighting to take you beyond. Syrian Air If you can go to Syria, you have the whole Middle East as a spring board either way. Flights a fraction of the cost for the same distance from north. TEHRAN - YEREVAN Caspian Air Serves Iran and beyond. Tatev TTT is the General Sales Agent of the Iranian company. Each Thursday Caspian Airlines has a flight Tehran -Yerevan-Tehran in TU-154 aircraft.
